Pediatric Power Wheelchairs

Cerebral palsy is caused by damage to the motor control of the brain and is said to be caused by child birth, during pregnancy, and even after birth at up to the age of three. When this disability occurs it limits the movement and posture causing activity limitations. A child with Cerebral palsy might not be able to walk, talk, eat, or play the way most kids do.
Every child would want to enjoy a normal life like their peers, but having cerebral palsy restricts them from being able to do most things child would enjoy doing. Being restricted from leisure activities can have impacts on the child’s physical health, mental, and life satisfaction; however, by being able to provide them with a power chair allows them to participate in school activities, more sociable, and also more likely to be accepted by their peers. If your child is suffering from cerebral palsy and they are restricted from doing what kids enjoy doing, please call us at 828-277-1400 for additional information on our power wheelchairs.
